What the Speech from the Throne really means for Black Canadians.

Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau had his speech from the Throne. Basically, It’s a speech at the start of a new parliament that says everything that the newly elected government is going to do. The Liberals made five priorities. Climate change, Middle Class, First Nations Peoples, Safety, and Foreign Affairs.
So if you’re Black, and you unwisely voted Liberal -even after blackface- and expect to get anything tangible. Think again. Our team went through the speech. Nothing for you.
What you will get are continued economic deprivation and a beefed-up police presence. Re: Bill Blair- former Toronto police Chief now Trudeau’s new Minister of Public Safety. He will not go after biker gangs in rural Ontario and Alberta, organized crime in Montreal, or South Asian crime syndicates in BC. No… He’ll use his resources to target any and all Black communities as he did in Scarborough and West End Toronto.
Those of us in Intelligent Black Society knew this, and will continue to prepare accordingly.
